I try not to question it anymore.


Well I've lived a pretty normal life
And I'm not one to complain
But lately something's been going on
And it's making me insane
I'm scared to even mention it
Because it's rather odd
And truth be told
I'd rather just forget it if I could

But there's an elephant in my room
The strange thing is he doesn't move
So I just walk around him
As if he's not there
And I never talk to him
Which is stranger still

He is big and he is wide
And it's obvious he has nowhere to go
And often when I see him
He holds a little sign
And in big black letters it says hello

He just suddenly showed up
And he likes to nose around my stuff
With his big long trunk
And I fear for what could happen
If he decides to take a step
It'd be such a crushing chaos
How would I explain the mess
