Inspired by Wallowa Lake and the Eagle Cap Mountain range near Joseph, Oregon. These lands were the summer home of the Nez Perce Indians and the area they eventually fled from on their last bid for freedom...never to see the mountains again. When I sing it, I can see the mother's telling their children.."Don't Look Back."
